In response to the box office competition from John Abraham’s Vedaa and Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer Khel Khel Mein, the makers of Stree 2 have announced the film’s nighttime screenings prior to its global release.
Stree 2, one of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2024, stars Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, and Shraddha Kapoor in the key parts. After a six-year hiatus, the latest installment of the franchise is making a big-screen comeback. Since the film’s announcement, fans have been anticipating its release with great anticipation. It was supposed to open in theaters on August 15 along with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, two other major releases. In advance of its global release, its creators have now shocked everyone by announcing nighttime performances. Stree 2 can be watched in theatres in night shows starting from 9:30 pm onwards on August 14, 2024.
A social media post by Maddock Films on Saturday announced a nighttime performance on Independence Day Eve. “Woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai, woh Stree hai!” The creators wrote, “Isilye woh aa rahi hai ek raat pehle, just for you,” on the Stree 2 poster.

“Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum,” a new song from the movie, was released earlier this week by the producers. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, who are the main stars of the song, are pictured together. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the song’s lyrics, which Varun Jain, Shilpa Rao, and Sachin-Jigar sing.

Shraddha and Raj Kumar will return to their roles in the movie alongside Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana. Sarkata, a new threat to the people of Chanderi, was revealed by the creators based on the teaser. When Sarkata threatens to kidnap every woman in the village, Vicky (played by Rajkummar) steps forward to protect the women by changing into the prince of Chanderi. Aaj Ki Raat, a dance number, is Tamannaah Bhatia’s cameo as well.
