LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana Eligibility: According to a statement from the state-owned insurer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Life Insurance Corporation of India’s Bima Sakhi Yojana this Monday at a function in Panipat, Haryana.
Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and other central and state government ministers are anticipated to attend the event, which is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of empowering women for a developed India (Viksit Bharat).
The LIC hasn’t yet revealed any other information regarding the plan, though.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: Job Opportunities
Women will have the chance to work as insurance brokers under this initiative (Bima Sakhi). They would get up to Rs 7,000 a month in financial assistance. The Bima Sakhi Yojana aims to give rural women access to financial aid and employment opportunities.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: Earnings (Rs 7,000 to Rs 21,000)
Women would earn Rs 7,000 a month for the first year. In the second year, this sum will fall to Rs 6,000 per month. Women will receive Rs 5,000 a month by the third year. They will also get an additional incentive of Rs 2,100. Additionally, commission-based incentives will be given for meeting insurance goals.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: Recruitment
In the first phase of this program, 35,000 women will be recruited as insurance agents. An extra 50,000 women will be included to the program in the future. The scheme would be introduced in Haryana first, then progressively expanded throughout the nation.
LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana: Eligibility And Minimum Qualification
