Ram Mandir Inaugurated: Following the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a crowd of over 7,000 people, which included seers and prominent figures from various backgrounds. Addressing the crowd, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the occasion, saying, “Our Ram lalla won’t have to live in a tent anymore; he will live in a grand temple.”

“After centuries of waiting, Lord Ram has finally arrived at his abode. “After centuries of patience and sacrifice, our Lord Ram has finally arrived,” Prime Minister Modi declared, honoring the sacrifices that led to this historic moment.

Regarding the Ram Janmabhoomi dispute, he stated, “Some people said that if the Ram Temple is built, it will cause a firestorm (across the country)… However, this construction resulted in new energy rather than fire.”

“Ram isn’t fire; he is energy. Ram is not a dispute, but a resolution… Ram is not only present; he is eternal,” PM Modi stated.

In his speech, the Prime Minister declared that “January 22, 2024 is not just a date, but the start of a new era.” “The construction of Ram Mandir has given people a new energy.” He emphasised that this moment would be remembered for generations to come.

“Even after thousands of years, people will remember this date and time. “We are witnessing Ram’s supreme blessings,” he stated, emphasizing the event’s long-term significance.

He also apologized to Lord Ram, saying, “There must have been something missing in our effort, sacrifice, and penance that prevented us from completing this task for so many centuries.” Today, the work was finished.I believe that Lord Shri Ram will forgive us today.”

Earlier in the day, he witnessed the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony and performed ‘aarti’. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined Prime Minister Modi inside the sanctum for the sacred proceedings.

The much-anticipated Ram temple was consecrated on Monday in Ayodhya. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony as an emotional moment for the country following a 500-year wait.

“There are some feelings in my heart that I can’t express. Everyone is emotional and happy. “At this historic moment, every city and village in the country has turned into Ayodhya, and every path appears to be leading to the Ram Janmabhoomi,” he said, as reported by PTI.

PM Modi stated that the country must now lay the groundwork for India’s future for another 1,000 years. “We take a pledge to build a capable, grand, divine India from this moment,” he went on to say.

Ram Mandir Inauguration: 121 Acharyas Involved In Pran Pratishtha Held With Diverse Representation

The Pran Pratishtha was a sacred ritual with 121 Acharyas overseeing the proceedings. The Anushthan was directed by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid, with Luckshmikant Dixit of Kashi serving as the principal Acharya. Distinguished guests attended the ceremony, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The temple, built in the traditional Nagara style, measures 380 feet long, 250 feet wide, and 161 feet tall. It is a three-story structure with each floor standing 20 feet tall and decorated with 392 pillars and 44 gates. The city of Ayodhya, adorned with rich floral decorations and special lights, was filled with the chants “Ayodhya Rammay ho raha hai.”

A noteworthy aspect was the diverse representation, encompassing various spiritual traditions, sects, and tribal communities. The event witnessed the participation of Acharyas from over 150 traditions, Sants, Mahamandaleshwars, and representatives of more than 50 tribal traditions, marking a historic and inclusive gathering.

Post the Prana Pratishtha, attendees had the opportunity for darshan, symbolising the culmination of the elaborate ceremonies. The enthusiasm for the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla was palpable, with celebrations planned across India.

Security measures were prioritized, with police personnel deployed throughout the city as part of a multifaceted strategy. Movable barriers with barbed wires controlled traffic, and NDRF teams were prepared for a variety of scenarios. Healthcare provisions were also made to cover potential health emergencies.

Notably, people from various backgrounds flocked to Ayodhya, travelling long distances to witness the historic inauguration, demonstrating the overwhelming sentiment that echoed across the country.
