When asked about his father King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry stated that it can help bring the royal family together.
Prince Harry revealed that he has considered becoming a US citizen, stating that he is “loving every single day” in California, where he lives with his wife Meghan Markle after retiring from royal duties in 2020. In an interview with Good Morning America, Prince Harry was asked if he felt American. He replied, “No.” “I’m not sure how I feel.”
“Would you think about becoming a citizen?” When asked, Prince Harry replied, “I have considered it, yeah.”
When asked what was holding him back, the Duke of Sussex said he had “no idea” but was currently focused on being in Whistler.
“I have no idea.” I’m here doing this. The thought has crossed my mind, but it is not a high priority right now,” he said, adding that everything keeps him busy as, “The mission continues. Every aspect of the work continues, and before you know it, this time next year, we’ll be right here doing it all again…and we’ll have the whole of Whistler, and hopefully the whole of Canada, cheering these guys on for an epic game.”
Prince Harry said about his children, “They’re doing great. The children are maturing at an astonishing rate, as all children do. They have an incredible sense of humour and, like most children, make us laugh while also keeping us grounded every day. “I’m just grateful to be a father.”
When asked about his father, King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry stated that it can help bring the royal family together, but he did not reveal the monarch’s prognosis.
“Look, I love my family. I’m grateful for the opportunity to get on a plane and visit him and spend time with him. On a daily basis, I witness the strength of the family unit coming together among all of these [Invictus] families. “I believe that any illness brings families together,” he said.
When asked for “his outlook” on his father’s health, Prince Harry responded, “That is between me and him.”
