Superstar Diljit Dosanjh of Punjab gave a heartfelt eulogy to the late industrialist Ratan Tata, who died on October 9, 2024. It was while Diljit was performing in Germany that he learned about Tata’s passing. Despite never having met the industrialist, he took a moment during the concert’s now-viral video to consider Ratan Tata’s enormous accomplishments and the personal influence the man had on him.
“Everyone is aware about Ratan Tata. He is no longer with us. This is my memento of him. Because of the hard effort he has put in throughout his life, I believe it is vital to honor his name today. Diljit remarked in Punjabi, “From what I have heard and read about him, he has never spoken badly about anyone.
“He has always put forth a lot of effort, produced quality work, and was helpful. This is life; this is the proper way to live. The singer-actor continued, “If there is anything we can take away from his life, it is to work hard, have a positive outlook, be helpful, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Ratan Tata died on October 9 in the evening. He was in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU) after being brought to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Monday due to an abrupt drop in blood pressure. The news of his passing spread later that evening.
