Bobby Deol Recalls Getting a Vertigo Attack While Promoting Aashram

Bobby Deol admitted that he was concerned about how the people would react to him playing an antagonist in Ek Badnaam Aashram Season.

Bobby Deol’s highly anticipated series, Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2, has finally been launched. In a recent interview with Filmfare, the actor revealed that he had a vertigo attack while promoting the show for the first time due to nervousness. He also said that he did not inform his parents about taking on the task.

Bobby Deol on suffering a vertigo attack

When asked if he still gets nerves during promotions, Bobby recalls feeling nervous. He explained, “It was my first time portraying an antagonist, and I was really frightened. I remember having a vertigo attack while marketing it because I suffer from vertigo. I believe there was a lot of uncertainty and fear about how people would react if I played a role like this.”

Bobby also stated that actors can be so influenced by others that they lose faith in their own ability. He emphasised that an actor’s weakest point occurs when they become brainwashed and lose faith in their abilities. As a result, many people choose the easier way rather than pursuing their true goals. He went on to say that playing Baba Nirala was not an easy decision for him because he was resuming his career and had selected a character in which he had never appeared previously.

Bobby never told about Aashram to his parents

He recalls not notifying his parents about the show, adding, “So, I was very nervous.” Normally, when you make a film, you watch it first at a premiere, but here I was watching it with the crowd. It was my first experience sitting and watching episodes while the entire country was watching at the same time. When messages began to arrive and my phone continued to ring, my parents, whom I had never told about making such a show—because they, too, want to influence you—were surprised. With such a strong personality, you never know what others may think or say. My mother received so many phone calls, and her friends still call her to enquire when the new season.
