Govind Jaiswal’s father was born in the ancient city of Varanasi and worked as a rickshaw puller to support his family. However, tragedy struck when Jaiswal’s mother became seriously ill, throwing the family into further turmoil. The family’s struggles became more severe after she died in 1995, forcing them to sell their means of survival.
Nonetheless, Jaiswal’s father refused to give up hope, determined to ensure his son’s education continued. Following his schooling and college education, Jaiswal traveled to Delhi, the crucible of UPSC preparation.
Despite dire financial circumstances, Jaiswal’s father remained unwavering in his support for his son’s academic pursuits. He sacrificed sleep and worked tirelessly to meet his son’s educational needs. Witnessing his father’s unwavering dedication fueled Jaiswal’s desire to work tirelessly towards his goals.
Jaiswal poured himself wholeheartedly into his studies, determined to succeed in a single attempt and relieve his father’s burden. His unwavering dedication paid off in 2006 when he emerged victorious and secured an impressive he currently has All India Rank of 48 and is pursuing his dream of becoming an IAS officer.
