Madgaon Express Box Office Collection Day 1

New Delhi: Kunal Kemmu made his directorial debut with Madgaon Express, which was released on March 22. On its first day, the comedy-drama did well at the box office. According to the Sacnilk report. Madgaon Express earned ₹1.5 crore on its first day. The film tells the story of three childhood friends who go on a beach vacation to Goa, but their trip goes completely off course. The lead actors in Madgaon Express are Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary. Excel Entertainment, owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, has backed the film. Nora Fatehi, Chhaya Kadam, and Remo D’Souza are also involved in the project.

Kunal Kemmu’s wife, actress Soha Ali Khan, shared a note on Instagram ahead of the release of Madgaon Express. The actress shared a behind-the-scenes video from the film’s set, screenings, and promotions. In her heartfelt note, Soha wrote, “It’s safe to say that since the age of eight, a film set has been a second home to you Kunal; we even met on a film set sixteen years ago, and perhaps that is where you found yourself as well. You’ve proven your worth as an actor across genres, but now you’re sharing your labor of love, sweat, and, yes, tears with the audience as a writer-director.

For his The Ultimate News review, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Madgaon Express 3 out of 5 stars, saying, “Madgaon Express is one rigmarole that never seems to overstay its welcome, with even the post-climax scenes – they interrupt the end credits in a novel, cockeyed fashion – springing loads of surprises and forcing the audience to hang on until it is all done and dusted.”

Saibal Chatterjee continued, “Aside from a script that never stops delivering generous doses of hilarity, the three actors’ comic timing adds vibrancy to the riotous farce. Each of the three principal actors successfully adapts his own style to the character he portrays. In the role of the stoic sceptic, Avinash Tiwari exudes strength and solidity transmitting mirth with his measured underplaying.”
