Even the great Sachin Tendulkar attended the Ranji final on Day 3, and he admired Musheer Khan’s partnership with Ajinkya Rahane at the start of the day, followed by Shreyas Iyer, to lead his team to a commanding total.

Musheer contributed significantly with the bat in the semifinal against Tamil Nadu, scoring 55 in 131 balls with six fours, before all-rounder Shardul Thakur hit a brilliant counter-attacking century to give Mumbai a 232-run lead. Mumbai won the match by an innings and seventy runs.

He scored 33 runs in 25 balls, including five fours in the second innings. After the match ended in a draw, Mumbai won based on their first-innings lead.
