Rain Forecast in Chandigarh Including Punjab Today
Rain is forecast in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Patiala, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Mohali, and Fatehgarh Sahib. Till 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, 11 mm of rain was recorded in Amritsar, 6 in Ludhiana, 7 in Patiala, and 17 mm in Jalandhar. Rain is expected in Chandigarh today as well.
Expect Rain in Haryana Too
Haryana’s Kaithal, Jind, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, and Kurukshetra are more likely to see rain. Rainfall is expected to be normal here. Till 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, 24 mm of rain had fallen in Ambala, 26 mm in Hisar, and 47 mm in Rohtak.
Weather of Himachal
Meteorologist Sandeep Sharma reported snowfall in Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, and Kinnaur. Even today, there is a chance of snow or heavy rain in these areas. In addition, Una, Mandi, Shimla, and Kangra may experience heavy rains.
