3 Terror Attacks In Jammu and Kashmir

Terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir have intensified since June 9. Terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi on Sunday, and two more attacks occurred in Kathua and Doda. Three terrorist incidents occurred within the last 48 hours. On Tuesday, terrorists opened fire in Jammu’s Kathua district, prompting the army to kill one of them. Terrorists also attacked an army camp in the Chhatrakala area of Doda district.

Security forces have surrounded the terrorists in Kathua. ADGP Jammu has confirmed the death of one terrorist, and the operation is still ongoing. Earlier on Sunday, terrorists fired on a bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khodi Temple to Katra, resulting in 9 deaths and injuries to 41 others.

Following a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Tuesday night, security forces and terrorists engaged in a gunfight. According to ADGP Anand Jain, terrorists opened fire on a joint checkpoint between the 4th National Rifles and the police in the Chhatrakala area. Security personnel retaliated, sparking an ongoing gunfight.

Earlier in the evening, terrorists attacked a village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, and security forces killed a suspected Pakistani terrorist in the ensuing encounter. A massive operation against the remaining hidden terrorists is underway. It is thought that these terrorists infiltrated from across the border. Three civilians were injured during the terrorist attack in Hiranagar.

According to a police spokesperson, terrorists attacked the village of Saida Sukhal near Koota Morh in the Hiranagar Sector. During the subsequent search, one terrorist was killed. The spokesperson stated that the operation is still ongoing. Officials found an AK rifle and a bag on the deceased terrorist, whose identity and group affiliation are being investigated.

On Sunday, terrorists opened fire on a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khori Temple to Katra in Teryath village, Reasi district’s Pouni area. Following the attack, the bus plunged into a gorge, killing nine people and injuring 41 others.
